Liverpool 2 v Manchester United 0. As much as we tried in that second-half, the difference in class was there for all to see. Not that I expected anything else to be honest. I’m always hopeful of course that United can turn it on in any away game against good opposition.
Today though, wasn’t one of those days, we had spells but when Liverpool turned it on they were very dominant and it could have easily been more than the 2-0 scoreline. We certainly performed better than we did against Arsenal, Watford, Bournemouth, West Ham, Newcastle etc, but that is certainly not saying much.
