Ferguson celebrates at Old Trafford - podcast #78

Manchester United 1 v Everton 1. Annoyed is an understatement, Everton were there for the taking today but unfortunately United didn’t fully turn up. Don’t get me wrong, we started very brightly and created a couple of really good chances in the opening fifteen minutes or so, but after that we just allowed them into the game.

As for Everton, they deserved the draw, but we allowed them to actually control the game at times and that simply isn’t good enough. Yes they time wasted, a lot, throughout the whole game but this is about Manchester United. And four of five of our players did not perform or turn up today.
