Luton Town 0 v Manchester United 3. A slow and stuttery game to begin with tonight, in fact for the most part it was like that. Luton never really threatened our goal, neither us theirs, but fair play to Luton they did play well throughout the evening.

A Juan Mata penalty just before half-time gave United the lead after Brandon Williams was upended in the box. Other than that there wasn’t too much to report on, the quality wasn’t great from either side, but the game was enjoyable and competitive throughout.

United made changes towards the end as Luton chased the game and because of that more space was available and we managed to add goals through Rashford and Greenwood. More importantly, it was game time for certain players and although no one was outstanding, Mata played and I thought the rest all did well enough.
