Manchester City 4 v Manchester United 1. There is getting beat and then there is getting beat like that and my word that second-half was a complete and total disgrace yesterday.
For the players to give up as they did in a Manchester derby like that is close to unforgivable and I see a few have already been updating their social media accounts today saying they’ll keep fighting and do better next time.
How about for once just not saying anything at all. Then come out and play, fight, battle and put everything you have into every single game you play for the club from now on.
We all know where our supposed ‘football’ club is at currently, it’s a shambolic mess, from top to bottom and nothing looks like changing for a long time. The least us fans expect on the field though is complete and total passion to try and win every tackle and challenge at all costs whilst going down fighting. Not give up in the manner we did yesterday. I’ll say it again. Disgrace.
