With lots of our fans back inside an Old Trafford stadium which has recently had a lick of paint last Wednesday, could we have a full house for our season opener against Leeds on the 14th August. Well, as things stands it looks like we could and I cannot wait to get back inside to see the lads play.
The Brentford pre-season friendly was a decent enough game entertainment wise, with Andreas Pereira’s stunning goal alone worth being there for. I didn’t go myself but did watch it online and it was great to hear a crowd back.
However, hearing cans of Carling lager were on sale for a fiver along with numerous problems with the ticket scanning machines in certain sections has me concerned for next Saturday. Hopefully there’ll be improvements this weekend for the visit of Everton in another pre-season friendly.
