Hello Reds,

I hope you are doing ok and get to have a good Christmas period/break. I know it is not for everybody out there, and can be a stressful time, and though we might not have the answers, if you ever want to talk, sound off, just have a simple chat, come and see us where we sell RedNews, or send a note, email, etc to start a chat. Join us after a match if you have the time. We’re always around. We are always delighted to chat to new, or old, faces.

This will be our only contact to you until the annual sub campaign next April so I hope that is ok, but I wanted to send out a few details about our annual fundraiser for MIND and also the new RedNews Christmas mag, a tribute to Bobby Charlton, and a new way we have set up for you to donate an extra single copy to a Red who maybe could use one this Xmas on top of your normal order. I know it’s not much, but something that might help/take Reds’ minds off things and for those who can’t afford one for them to enjoy –  and we’ll donate £1 from every one of your kind orders to our fundraiser.

But most importantly – our 7th annual fundraiser for Manchester Mind starts on December 1st and where I will attempt (with a dodgy knee) 500,000 steps during the month. That’s a lot for me, but I hope I can do it. This cause means a lot to us.

We remain a small fanzine but one we hope that has a big voice, YOUR voices. Different voices. We want to carry on, but without backers always need your – the readers who are our backbone – help to do that. It’s not easy, but we think we’re a unique take, because it’s your views, away from the mainstream. We want to stay around for a bit yet if that is ok with you. Your support does that.
