I’m looking forward to being at Old Trafford this Sunday for our game against Everton. It’s going to be great to see the unveiling of the new South Stand in front of the usual 75,000 fans or so and many key figures from Sir Bobby’s life and the world of football.
I’ll be in my usual seat in the Stretford End looking to my right at the South Stand as it’s unveiled. The current South Stand contains the only original part of the 1910 stadium infrastructure, and will now be named after one of Manchester United and England’s greatest-ever players, United director and legend Sir Bobby Charlton.
With regards to the game itself, there has to be goals for us this weekend. Everton have been conceding plenty of goals this season so we just have to get at them from the first whistle. You’d normally be looking at this and saying 2-0 or 3-0 easily but I think we’ll play the same old way and maybe just the one goal may do it. Hope so. Come on United lets finish this average season strongly.
