Three straights wins in Turin - podcast 16

Juventus 1 vs Manchester United 2 podcast.

United were second best for most of the night and we absolutely got lucky at times, but we were always going to concede chances to a superb Juventus side. Even if we’d have lost though, I’d have been happy with our overall performance last night because we finally competed for a full 90 minutes. That is an improvement in itself.

Of course we expect better, absolutely, but to actually play well and stay in the game for the full 90 minutes is certainly something we’ve not been capable of doing this season. The substitutes made a difference in the second-half of course, but all night we still looked like creating something because we consistently tried to get forward when we could. Brilliant win! Which makes it three straight wins in Turin now against Juventus going back to 1998/99.
