The league season is over and the United players are currently having a well earned rest after finishing the season in third place. That means Champions League football next season, but we still have a trophy that we could win this season first and that is the Europa League.
Finishing third was great and Ole did a brilliant job to get us into that position from where we were, but finishing third does not get you a trophy. In the long run, getting back into the Champions League now shows progression and will mean so much for the club going forward.
However, watching the FA Cup Final without United in it and the weekend was still very frustrating, so let’s hope we can go one step further in the Europa League that is due to resume this week and then throughout August.
