Young Boys 0 vs United 3 podcast.
We should always be beating teams like Young Boys, whether it’s home or away and last night in Bern we certainly got a very good win. United in the past have slipped up away from home in the Champions League, in games they shouldn’t have. However, last night the win came along with a very good performance too.
Young Boys started well though and were actually the better team in the opening periods of play as they broke quickly with pace numerous times on the astroturf pitch. United finally got settled though and then Pogba broke the deadlock with a sublime of skill as he shifted the ball quickly and hit home a superb left-footed shot.
Man-of-the-match then scored a second from the penalty spot, before then setting up Martial in the second-half as United won 3-0. Luke Shaw looked fantastic again and has clearly got his confidence back as he looked to get forward all the time. Fred got some minutes too, along with Andreas Pereira but it was Diogo Dalot who impressed at right-back the most on his Manchester United debut.
