Down at the Palace

I decided to miss Palace again this year. I say that as if I’m a regular visited down there, hah. I’ve only ever been to Selhurst Park once for an actual Palace game, but I’m sure I mentioned that in the review of this game last season.

Our very tricky October month of games ends here though after previous away days at both Arsenal and Everton. Along with City last week I don’t think we’ll have to many tougher months. With the way Palace are currently playing and getting results we might sometimes accept a point, not today though. A win is required.

However, a point is all we’ll get there I believe. Not to be negative but I think we’ve got away with two victories there in the last two seasons. Not that football works like that but a defeat could be on the cards. Therefore (unfortunately) on this occasion I will accept a point.

If that is the case, then that will mean five points from the twelve available in October. Not Good enough. At the start of the month a minimum of seven points was required so if the win comes then I’ll be a little more happy.

The pub and a certain foreign channel it’ll have to be for me tomorrow then. Just hope they’re not showing the Rugby World Cup final too as I’m hoping to watch that later on delay. I love rugby as well but goes without saying United always comes first.

Enjoy the game but I’m going for 1-1 I’m afraid.
