Everton 0 vs Manchester United 2. Excellent first half from United, with us starting on the front foot with wave after wave of attacks, but unfortunately we just couldn’t score. You could say Everton didn’t help themselves from the beginning, but United were just all over them.

The middle part of the game and the second-half then seemed a bit scrappy with no real clear cut chances being created from either side. United kept at it though and just before the 90 minutes were up, Cavani had a brilliant first touch from Martial’s pass, then a second touch before a superb strike to. If only our fans were in that away end to see that.

United deserved the win overall, but after a bright start you do start to worry when it goes 0-0 for so long. Thankfully United were patient and we’re into another semi-final under Ole. Hopefully this time we go one step further. Merry Christmas all!
