Leicester City 2 v Manchester United 2. A draw was probably a fair result in the end today, but United will certainly rue the chances they missed to see off the game and take all 3 points.
Overall it seemed a very open game and it was evenly matched throughout, however it also seemed very scrappy at times with neither team fully dominating the other. Leicester did have the better possession and certainly more of the ball, but United had enough chances to win it. Unfortunately we didn’t take them.
I’m certainly annoyed to not have won, especially when we took the lead again with 10 minutes to go. Lapses in concentration at the back again have cost us though, with us giving easy space to Leicester to break in behind and score.
The team and squad are still heading in the right direction and better results will come in games like this. Frustrated not to win, but very glad to not to lose to a team just above us.
