Aston Villa 1 v Manchester United 3. Another away win for United on the road this season and yet another away win in the Premier League at Villa Park. What a record with have against them at their place.
We did have to come from behind once again though like we have on so many occasions this season. However, compared to some of our first-half displays this season it wasn’t as poor as some people seem to make out after the game.
We clearly weren’t as clinical as we were in the second-half, but chances were created in the first-half and we looked to attack from the first whistle. How many times this season have we looked half asleep in the opening 10 minutes of a game and then been unable to string any passes together? Plenty of times. It was far from that yesterday, despite very weak defending once again for their goal. Something that needs addressing, but it has all season.
