Manchester United 1 v Leicester City 2. With all that has gone on recently it was still a seriously sad state of affairs to see steel barriers being erected around Old Trafford prior to this evening’s game. Has it really come to this Glazers?
As for the game, it was never going to be an enthralling match with all the changes made by both teams, particularly United. However, we could have won it with some of our forward play despite the inexperience of a certain few of our players. It was a poor game overall but it was to be expected.
Ultimately though, if we continue to give away poor goals defensively it will cost us over and over again. I hate losing no matter what team we put out, but it’s all about the bigger picture for United going forward now. We’re heading in the right direction under Ole that’s for sure. Long may in continue.
