Manchester United 1 v West Ham United 1. Ole has gone for it with a regular team so often since the return from lockdown and it has been brilliant to watch. It has worked as well and he’s certainly got us playing well and the team into a great position league wise. When know one give him a chance at all.
Unfortunately now it all seems to have caught up with the players, as for four games now they majority of them look physically and mentally tired. Has he played too many players to often and not used fitter player from the bench enough often enough? You could argue yes, but would we then be in the position we are currently if he hadn’t. Who knows!?
I suppose we’ll never know, but what we do know is that if we draw or beat Leicester on Sunday we’ll finish in the Champions League places. More importantly it’s more progress under Ole. Even though an FA Cup trophy win would have been more pleasing for me. That’s just me though. Enjoy Phil’s podcast:
