Time for trust not surrender - podcast #111

Manchester United 1 v Chelsea 3. We just look mentally tired now and have done for 3 games, that can be the only reason why so many individual players have made so many basic mistakes.

Is it because they have put so much in to all the games in such a short space of time since the return that they’re now completely spent. It certainly looks like it. We all know that when you’re tired your concentration goes and our marking, passing, first touch and general awareness is just not there.

This is not a criticism from me, it’s just a fact. Too many errors all round and United have looked off it for a few games now, not just tonight. Still, winning a trophy would have been awesome but seeing the bigger picture, we are absolutely going in the right direction and the only plus I can take from the game is that Ole will learn from his mistakes and also learn more about his players for next season. Gutted.
