Manchester United 3 v Liverpool 2. As expected, this evening’s FA Cup tie against them lot was much more open than last weekend’s Premier League match, but I think we all expected that.
A good game too with both managers playing strong sides, even though certain players were still rested and left on the bench to begin with.
The first-half was pretty even as both sides got forward and created chances. Second-half we started the brighter but quite quickly they got back into it and got on top. Ole then brought on Fernandes.
He didn’t make an instant impact as he hardly touched the ball for about 10 minutes, but then when his chance came from a free-kick on the edge of their area. Bang. 3-2 United and now we face West Ham in the next round.
