Manchester United 6 v Roma 2. Well, that was certainly a game of two halves, but to have been inside Old Trafford tonight celebrating all those goals in the Stretford End makes me miss going even more.
Not just United winning. Not just celebrating goals. Not just potentially reaching a European Final. The biggest miss is the buzz of cheering on United with your friends, family and all those strangers you see every home game but have no idea what their name is.
Anyway, defensively we were poor tonight and that still needs addressing in the future. We all know that’s where we still need to strengthen and that’s obvious. However, going forward we are an absolute delight to watch. What a second-half. What a win!
