Match report to follow on a poor night for United against a just as poor Valencia side. I don’t think I’ve ever seen us make football look so difficult to play at times. Watching that last night was so frustrating when you can see basic stuff not being done. Without the ball, there was no pressing or winning of the ball back quickly as we plodded around. With the ball, there was no quick pass forward, no sprinting forward into space to receive the ball.
