After waiting so long to get back to Old Trafford to watch United and then having an unbelievable day catching up with friends and family. Plus the superb performance and win over Leeds on the opening day of the new Premier League season. I’ve then had to wait nearly another month to get back there, thanks to two away games (I couldn’t attend) and an international break.
Who cares though, I’m just glad to be back again this Saturday to get behind the lads, have some beers and a sing song, oh and see some lad called Ronaldo maybe make his second debut for United. What a mad signing!
I wasn’t there for Ronaldo’s first debut back in 2003 against Bolton. As after getting back from United’s pre-season tour of America, I had a few days at home before shooting off to Ibiza for a two week lad’s holiday. I definitely watched the game over there, but just can’t remember where, maybe Mr Toff Toffs bar?
I’m here for this game though, if he plays, which I’m sure he will. Off the bench in the second-half yes? Either way, roll on Saturday and hopefully three points against Newcastle United.
Anyway, here is Phil’s latest podcast with not a very special guest, just the curator himself. Me. Enjoy!
