Well, United were back in action last weekend, all be it in a pre-season friendly, but for the away fans that travelled to Pride Park it must have been a great feeling. United won the match against Wayne Rooney’s Derby side with goals from youngsters Chong and Pellistri, but as Ole said pre-match, it’s all about fitness and preparation ahead of the new season ahead.
As for transfers, I’ve still avoiding all the nonsense that goes on in the summer but the lack of confirmed announcements comes as no surprise. Yes players will come in, they better, but why oh why does it always seem to take so long?
Player contracts too, with rumours of players who have been out on loan being offered new deals. Plus a certain first-teamer being offered a new big bumper deal, when we should just be moving him on and out of the club. Enough is enough.
