What an absolute delight it has been the past week and a half, not just for me but for a certain Marcus Rashford. Teenager Rashford scored twice again and also set up another for Ander Herrera as we pretty much ended Arsenal’s Premier League League campaign yesterday at Old Trafford.

He’d already got a brace on his debut against FC Midtjylland last Thursday to help us reach the Europa League last 16 in a 5-1 (6-3 aggregate) win. That’s four goals now in less than a week for a player that not a lot of people knew about. Well, except those hardcore fans who keep an eye on the reserves and youth players rather than just the first team.

How’s Rashford’s luck anyway? I was at the Shrewsbury FA Cup away tie the other Monday when Will Keane came off injured after only being on the pitch for a matter of minutes. Keane had recently had his loan spell with Preston cut short due to our lack of strikers and then he gets injured straight away, which also meant we finished the last 14 minutes with 10 men.

I doubt van Gaal would of promoted Rashford except for the injury to Keane. It’s unfortunate for Will himself but life is about taking your chances and thankfully #Rashers took his.

I wasn’t at the game yesterday as I was down in Oxford for the weekend but after two day/nights out on the ale we of course made it down the pub for some food before kick off. Then started on the beers once again. I can’t wait to see Rashford play again now, presumably against Watford on Wednesday.
