Manchester United 1 v Tottenham Hotspur 6. Horrific is an absolute understatement. We’ve had success, we’ve had good times, but remember this… United currently cannot defend as a team!
I’ve experienced many bad days at the office from United, losing 6-1 to City, losing 5-1 to City, 5-0 losses to both Chelsea and Newcastle to name but a few. Southampton away that time as well.
However, they tend to be one off games where everything has gone wrong. Today though, shocking, but this result has been on the cards for a while now with all our recent league performances.
We finished last season very poorly with 3 or 4 games to go and then so far this season, both Palace and Brighton we were very poor too. I cannot describe how bad we have been for basic marking, defending, tackling and organisation.
