Brighton & Hove Albion 0 v Manchester United 3. Not the greatest game of football and it certainly wasn’t played at the fastest pace. However, it was an enjoyable game to watch and I was very pleased with some individual performances.
I thought Mata, Donny van de Beek, Henderson, Fred (apart from a few stray passes) all looked very good and the rest did a decent enough job too. Brighton had the majority of the ball in first-half, but United looked comfortable and took the lead just before half-time with a bit of quality.
Second-half we created more and the ball seemed to be moved forward a little bit more quickly and once Brighton finally started to chase the game we finished them off. Not before an excellent save from Henderson to deny Trossard.
Anyway, as always, here is Phil’s pre, during and post match podcast review. Enjoy!
