Manchester United 1 v Wolverhampton Wanderers 0. I’m not sure about the “oohe”, but having looked up the Amazon Prime Premier League theme tune after the game, I found the Makeba song had the “I want to see you fight” lyric in it. And I couldn’t agree more as I felt we lacked that overall tonight creatively, but it was very pleasing that we kept going until the end.
Don’t get me wrong, I was absolutely delighted when the winner went in, but the frustration throughout with the lack of movement at times got on my nerves. I’m normally always quite patient watching United, but I honestly felt we lacked a little something tonight. Wolves defended well of course, but we certainly made it easier for them with the lack of movement.
Thankfully, United and the team were patient and unlike previous games this season the lads keep going until the very end and they were rewarded. Just another reason then to continue to back Ole and the team going forward. They’ll both continue to get things wrong, but they’ll both then continue to learn from those mistakes and rectify them.
Anyway, Happy New Year to you all, stay safe and lets continue to back our team. Enjoy Phil’s podcast:
