All games matter though and even when you’re not fully at your best, like United weren’t tonight, they got the result. We seemed to lack rhythm and there was an awful lot of poor passes in my opinion. Palace played well of course and they certainly got at us, but thankfully two superb goals and finishes from Rashford and the in-form Martial sealed a very good three points.

Only more can come from this side as we continue to learn and build towards an exciting future. We’re certainly going in the right direction, but there still has to be more to come. Enjoy Phil’s podcast:
